perspiration
Other names: hidrosis, perspiration
Every person perspires, some less, some more. Sweat is normally own health, since it excludes a number of waste products (urea, salts, acids, ..). Sweat glands are spread across the skin with the exception of the edges of the lips, the inner surface of the foreskin and the nail bed. In the densest clusters they are not on the palms, soles and forehead.
Anti-sweat
Most sweat odor in the armpit, because there are disposed not only classic sweat glands, but glands aromatic occurring near the hair. It is therefore advisable to use deodorant every day (to eliminate odors) just once in the morning and the effect then lasts throughout the day.Antiperspirants (they clog sweat glands and prevent sweating as such) can cause skin irritation, so they are not satisfactory for many people. There are also special creams that can be purchased at a pharmacy, some people but again poorly tolerated. The novelty today is the application of botulinum toxin in the form of injection that is performed repeatedly after 8-12 months (its effect is limited in time) or surgical removal of sweat glands, both of you but it also comes at a high cost.
Sweating is sometimes a sign of more serious diseases such as tuberculosis and cancer (human sweating especially at night), inflammation of the heart, myocardial infarction, bilious attack, pneumonia and other febrile diseases, thyroid diseases and certain hormonal changes (menstrual cycle, puberty, menopause).
Common causes sweating are also unhealthy lifestyles, obesity, stress, alcohol, spicy foods, caffeine, nicotine and certain medications.
Sweating also feel angina or flu, when the fever subsides quickly after administered drugs (aspirin, Brufen …) or wraps and medicinal baths. Take a good sweat under the duvet when a high fever, is healthy. Unnecessary it is only at elevated temperatures, it is desired not to lower the temperature (no medication or other means) to the body with his fighting disease.
When suspiciously increased sweating (especially at night), and other associated symptoms would prefer to see a doctor!
