Enlarge certain parts of the body only at a particular site is mostly swelling associated with ongoing inflammation or tumor. Inflammation of the affected area is red, hot and painful it may be, depending of course on the location of the inflammation. For surface inflammation is appropriate application of cold compresses, with deeper Priessnitz (lukewarm wrung tiles covered with dry cloth – diaper, blanket).

swollen belly

A special form of ascites swelling, which manifests itself with a loud belly filled with several liters of fluid (so it is inflated like a balloon). Ascites usually means the patient has cirrhosis of the liver.

swollen legs

Swelling may be in addition to the abdomen and legs, and may be a heart failure from various causes (e.g. lung diseases, heart diseases, etc.), Or also of kidney disease. Other diseases

Robust certain body parts also occurs in other metabolic disorders – e.g. with Cushing’s disease(also hormone-dependent disease, robust abdomen and rounded faces happens due altered distribution of body fat), but also by now increasingly frequent obesity!
